How to get to the center of Prague
From Malešické náměstí to the center of Prague using bus and metro via Skalka station, here is a possible route
1. Start at Malešické náměstí
- Board a bus heading towards Skalka.
- For example, you can take bus no. 177 / 195 or another suitable connection heading to Skalka.
- Bus ride to Skalka station
- Watch for stops and get off at Skalka stop (4 stops).
- The bus journey should take approximately 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
2. Transfer to the metro at Skalka station
- After exiting at Skalka, proceed to the Skalka metro station on the A line (Green line).
- Travel by metro to the center of Prague
- Board the A line metro heading towards the city center (for example, towards Nemocnice Motol or Depo Nemocnice Motol).
- The trip to the city center (for example, Museum or Staroměstská stations) takes approximately 15–20 minutes.
3. Arrive at your destination station in the center
Note: An MHD ticket is not necessary; you can pay for the ticket directly by card in the transport vehicle.
Tips: I recommend using the MHD Praha app or Google Maps, where you can plan your route precisely in real-time and check current schedules and stops.
Buses and metro in Prague run frequently, so you should be able to complete your journey without issues.
Alternatively, you can use services like Uber or Bolt for a comfortable and quick ride to the center.
